MEDIA CREATOR PROFILE: CHARLIEISSOCOOLLIKE



He went viral a couple of years ago, when his spoof video on how to make an English cup of tea earned him an appearance on the BBC. Since then, he’s continued Vlogging, he has a band Chameleon Circuit, that’s dedicated to the long-running British sci-fi series Dr. Who, and he’s become a well-known part of the YouTube community. He's the top YouTuber in the U.K.

In recent months, Charlie McDonnell,18, has been both to E3, and to Comic-Con in San Diego. In the case of Comic-Con, Microsoft paid his way, asking only that he visit their presence and Comic-con - but agreed to let him write whatever he’d like. They supplied him with a press pass, and given him access behind the scenes. Charlie also collaborates with other Youtubers as well on videos and other projects, including projects just for charity.

YoshiToMario, 14, also known as Hugh, has been on YouTube for over three years, and until his last account was banned a few weeks ago (perhaps for inappropriately using copyrighted work - something to watch out for on YouTube), was on the list of the top 100 most subscribed channels in the UK.
